Digital evangelists have watched them since infancy, but today the Millennials have quietly grown up to command the attention and interest of retailers around the world.
Why? Because later this year in 2015, the millennial generation are projected to surpass the US’s largest living generation of “Baby Boomers”. Known for their technology-entrenched upbringing, this demographic has already exceeded Generation X and accounts for 79 million people in the US alone, from ages 15 to 34 years.
And significantly for retailers, they have now grown into their buying power.
